My husband had a prostatectomy in January and we recently found out that his prostate cancer has spread to his bones so we're waiting for his treatment to start, I don't know where this takes us.

I am sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. This comes as a dreadful shock initially, but once he starts treatment it becomes a little easier, as he will feel that he is moving forward.
Cancer doesn't just affect your husband. It impinges on family as well. Have you discussed what treatment he will be getting or when it will start?
I hope that you can talk all about what is happening between you. Sharing the burden of such a diagnosis
helps both of you to come to terms with it.
