My Mum is approaching end of life, I spent the day with her today at our local hospice.

Due to current restrictions I can only go to see her once every 5 days as I have siblings whom share the care. Mum has deteriorated massively in those 5 days but her neurological signs had deteriorated the most. Mum was talking about passed relatives and saying they were in the room with her, she was hearing conversations between them and asking me if I could hear. Mum could also see a little girl and a black cat, all hallucinations but Mum was 100% sure she could see them. Mum was getting other family members mixed up and could hardly put a sentence together. I could see her physically trying to find the words in her head but they just wouldn't come. Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer just before lockdown and her treatment was stopped, things have progressed quite quickly. Has anyone else been through anything like this ??
