  • I'm was diagnosed recently with aggressive Myxofibrosarcoma, I'm 40, what's your age?. Still getting my head around it all, had surgery now waiting for Radiotherapy. How are you feeling? I'm lost, feel like a different person, It's weird
  • Hi sarah , I haven't got Ewing sarcoma but have recently been diagnosed with diffuse b cell lymphoma. It is very scary waiting and wondering what is going to happen. It is hard waiting but once they sort your treatment plan every thing will happen quickly, it has for me. I start chemo next week and been in and out for tests this week.It does seem to be a waiting game to start with and very scary so if you need to chat let me know. Hope all goes well for you and you have support from family and friends.  JOANNE

We're going to have bad times unfortunately but we must stay strong we will beat this!!! Good luck next week keep in touch as to how your going . Take care, joanne x

  • Hi Sarah I feel lucky really not having Chemo, caught mine early it was very localised. Had surgery, took Quad muscle away from inner thigh so Yeh, big op. I feel confused on how to feel really, I feel like numb and don't know myself. I'm a nurse, its even put me off going back to nursing as I don't want to be surrounded by ill people anymore. Stay strong its early days, take each day as it comes!. Keep in touch. Emma
  • Hi Joanne im Emma. It's scary what life throws at us. Keep strong

  • Hi Emma

We never know what's around the corner do we but I just take each day as comes and try to be positive once my chemo starts might all change but I'm determined to get through this. Hope your ok and have lots of support

    Take care joanne x

  • Hi Sarah, I'm really sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I had a Ewings Osteo-sarcoma of the right tibia at the age of 10, which resulted in an above knee amputation. I am now 37 by the way :) x
