It's probably nothing to worry about, but...

Hi,

I'm 4 years post breast cancer diagnosis and have been well up until the last month or so. I had a wide local excision and radiotherapy and have been taking anastrazole. The BC was stage 1 grade 3.

I'm a little worried as I've been getting a lot of breast pain in the affected breast and it is now larger than the other breast. It feels quite hard in areas and is very uncomfortable. I know there can be issues with scar tissue but I can't really tell if the hardness is scar tissue as the breast is very lumpy at the best of times.

Im reluctant to contact my consultant as two years ago I contacted the breast clinic with a concern and was asked to come in by the lovely nurses. However, the consultant was very dismissive and made me feel rather stupid. I know it's probably nothing to worry about so should I wait until my next appointment in September and raise the concern then?

Thanks in advance for you help.
