  • Hello sams.in1971 and welcome.  I am sorry to read of your diagnosis.  I hope you have family and friends who will love and help you throughout your treatment.  Don't be afraid to reach out to  those who care for you and feel free to come here as often as you want to let your feelings out.    In a way I understand that you are both scared and not scared at the same time; there is of course nothing you can do but go with the agreed treatment (I am presuming that this is what you want) and take it from there when the outcome is known.  Post here as often as you want if it helps you; I and others will be happy to chat with you.  Annie

  • Hi Sam in the Sam situation as you but after chemo and radiotherapy, then surgery last year Apr Barbie Bum Done. The late last year noticed some lumps so went to see surgeon he thought I was exaggerating so arrange a MRI suffer from confined spaces so always drugged up. Went to see him he said the cancer has come back and he could do no mote apart from sending me back to the oncologist tried this chemo and after three weeks had a scan MRI waiting to hear if anything can be done, will not be told until the 19th March.

The chemo this time gave me problems with my lungs and walking legs giving in plus caused me to be anemic and had to have a infusion of magnesium really bad I was.

How are you doing and what have they done so far for me taking Tramadol, Paracetamol and liquid oramorph as and when required.

The first lot of chemo I had a pick line filled with 5FU and Mitto no effectseand the last one was taxol/carbo loads of effects.

I also have a stoma since the cancer was diagnosed on my *** skin.

    Ok SPK another time
