No one here can tell you what is the cause of it ... if you've just started your period, I take it your  quite young ... can you chat with your mum or another family member ... if it were a daughter of mine, I'd get an appointment with your G P or even a phone consultation where you can some advice ...

The chances are it's o.k but it's better to get anything that worries you seen by your Dr ... they see these things all the time ,so don't be imbarased talking to them ... you could ask to speak to a lady Dr if it helps .. let us know how it goes ... Chrissie....
