Have a very new black spot on the soul of my foot am uncertain if it's just a blood blister or something of concern? My mom passed sadly at 46 from melanoma so I'm very vigilent
I am sorry to learn about your mom and can understand you wanting to be vigilant about checking your skin.
I'm afraid, even with a photo, I am not able to tell you if this is a blood blister or a melanoma. And nor can anyone else on Cancer Chat - only a doctor can make an assessment and diagnose what is the matter. Our advice to anyone who has noticed a new and persisting skin change is always to see their GP and get it checked out.
Hopefully, this won't be a melanoma and the GP will be able to give you some peace of mind.
