Introduction to the forum

Hello everyone and thank you for inviting me to this group, looking so forward to reading all your posts and learning/supporting all the members who all share a special medical journey.

I was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer called Granulosa Adult tumour. I have learned that I am one of the 1% who get this type of cancer in the Ovaries and am seeking medical information and similar stories to assist me in my learning process.

I am scheduled for my second surgery Hysterectomy and Lymph node, Omentom removal to get rid of the diseased parts. I wonder what the out come may bring, this is my second surgery to help me. The first surgery was the Oophorectomy which found this diagnoses, first starting off with abnormal bleeding after three years, the Gyne was shocked there was a tumour in my ovaries but this is how it was diagnosed. The next step will be CT scan to see how far this rare tumour has spread.....I am scared please wish me luck my new friends & prayers for the ones who are struggling!
