I think all of us who have/have had this illness in any of it's forms always feel vulnerable and worry that it may recur, as it did with my ovarian this year after 3 years.  I wish you lots of luck tomorrow, Sian, and let's keep looking for those rays of sunshine!

Hello, Sian, have only just noticed your friend request, sorry. Did you mean it for me? You haven't posted for a while, hope it's simply because you are still recovering from your hospital visit and that it went as well as poss?  The sunshine is still there, we just have to find it sometimes!

Hi Hazel - of course I meant you!  I just got so overwhelmed with the posts from people who were sufering so much more than me - and had difficulty managing my emotional reactions!  I just felt the need to connect with an individual with whom I felt I resonated - appreciated the sensitivity of your reply.  Does that sound daft?  Does it mean that I cannot deal with the tsunami of pain out there?  Sian
