For about the price you mentioned I flew out to India for three weeks just after I finished chemo last January. A year on and the premium had halved.

I use InsureWith who specialise in people who have had cancer. They seem very reasonable and after my first year after treatment the quote was less. I picked up a Macmillan brochure about insurance from my local Maggie's centre which was very helpful and just phoned around. I was quoted from £1100 to £190 but now pay around £160 for annual coverage.
