Inpatient

My husband is on his second inpatient visit. Think last time he came home to early. He did have a driver to manage his pain but that’s gone now and he’s ok and managing on a 100mcg fentanyl patch with oxycodone liquid for breakthrough pain. He’s got an NG tube up his nose into his stomach at moment to help drain excess fluid. His abdo drain stopped draining and so that’s been removed. The cancer has shrunk but the effects have had a crazy affect on his bowel so he no longer has a massive diet and has TPN feeds now via a picc line.....was only weeks ago we had amazing ct scan results, showing everything was shrinking, then He took a big nose dive.....roller coaster as they say is sooooo right x
