My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC 6 months ago. 

He underwent a laminectomy on T9 vertebrae last July. He also had metastases to his thumb and adrenal glands.

He began chemotherapy/immunotherapy last September. 

He had a PET-CT scan in the middle of November which showed  a small cancerous nodule in his lung had disappeared and another one is now only 7mm and inactive.

His adrenal glands did show slightly elevated activity but no change in size.

He had a CT scan last week. I rang for the results early today. I live in Bulgaria, even though the doctor speaks English she is very hard to understand over the phone. 

His lung and abdomen scans are not ready. To me that's sounds ominous as results normally only take a couple of days here.

His brain scan had areas of change but is inconclusive. Can anybody tell me what this means please?

Then the doctor was saying something about no metastases. I have no idea if she was talking about his brain or another part of his body. I have to ring back Monday after the tumour team have discussed the findings. 

This wait is the most awful thing even.x
