Welcome to the forum although I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis that your boyfriend has recently been given. 

We know that waiting for tests and results can be a very difficult time and it's natural to think about all possible outcomes. Hopefully when you see the lung specialist they will be able to answer your questions. 

I would certainly suggest that you make an appointment to see your own GP so that you can let them know what is happening. That way if you need addtional support with managing your own health over the coming weeks and months they will be there for you.
