I just lost my Mother despite Trying everything

Hi Guys! Ive been wanting to write this Post for quite a while but I didn't have the time to write it due to some pressing matters until now. I believe it is my obligation to do So, I'll Appreciate it if you folks take some time off to read it. Although this post is directed towards everyone but it is particularly of importance for females.Im from Pakistan and hence this maybe relateble to many ladies of this area but I believe everyone should read this

Cancer is a menacing disease and sadly even after all those advancements in Medicine, Many forms of cancer are considered incurable while some if caught early can be eradicated. There are around 1200 types of Cancers, Some forms of cancer are fairly common while some are rare and subsequently harder to diagnose.

on 13th of September, I lost my Mother( Best Friend/Guardian/My Happiness/My Supporter in Every Matter) to this relatively rare of form of cancer called ACC (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma). A Tragedy that I never could anticipate nor was prepared for it. By the time we found out about cancer, it was already a Stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her liver covered most of it. The oncologist said she'd last a maximum of 2.5-3 months since the stage is too advance for any diagnose to make any dent. Despite knowing the inevitable I tried any option I could come across Chemotherapy/Homeopathy/Strict Diet/ Hakeems and Even Dam Darood to somehow delay if not decline the inevitable but sadly all those methods went in vain and all I gained were 2 more months for her. Contrary to what the oncologist predicted, she lasted for 5 months instead of 3.

The main reason of this post is to point out the fact quite common in our society that we and especially the women of our society take health for granted just so others dont get worriedor bothered by it and ultimately something far worse than that happens. The situation that I faced is no different.women in our society tend to have a very compromising and sacrificial nature just for the sake of their children.Quite rarely any person who suffers from a stage 4 cancer survives since the cancer already has consumed multiple organs however if its caught early then the likelihood of survival increases.

Almost 2 years ago it started off as a small tumor that my mom probably noticed but didn't bother much and didn't tell anyone about it by thinking that it'll mend itself or its some Cyst or Pimple. Had she got that tumor tested she probably would've been by my side today. Over time I started to notice her getting weak and I told her about it and we even went to doctors but many doctors took this lightly and gave her suppliments to boost her health but ofcourse the decline continued and to the point where we had to get her admitted to the Hospital and by then after tests it was found that there were tumors on her liver and its malfuctioning and after multiple other tests followed by biopsies we got to find out that the tumours were cancerous and she's suffering from a Stage 4 cancer.

The moral of all what I wrote is Cancer may be hard to cure but it can be prevented via right practices that many of us lack. And prevention is better than cure, I read this report a while ago that stated "1 in 3 women will suffer some form of cancer in their lifetime". This is startling and should be an eye opener for every lady. My mom has been a teacher for over 25 years, a passionate workaholic who always gave her best to her family and everyone around but she neglected herself and that led to her demise at the age of 55 while i lost her when im just 23. I dont want any person to face what Ive faced or go through the traumatic period Ive gone through. Health should be the top priority, and only once you're healthy you can actually enjoy what life has to offer. I believe theres extremely low awareness of Breast Cancer in our society and It is only through awareness that one can prevent such a dismal situation. Im doing my part in any way I can.

--->>>> Every Female should get herself examined once in 6 months via a test called SonoMammography which doesn't even cost much but can detect something that's about to happen much earlier.

--->>>> Eating Raw Vegetables everyday should be a practice for the rest of your life. they all have anti cancerous characteristics. Out here we mostly eat oily stuff full of spices and overcooked.

An Early Diagnose will definitely ensure higher likelihood of survival, please don't ever take these lightly. You wont be the only ones who'd suffer, all your closed ones will too

Now I miss her everyday and im too young to face all those social problems and responsibilites and im very depressed, she was with me in literally every matter of life, I feel like I lost a part of me that i would never recover. Id live an incomplete life
