I HOPE MY 'CAUSE FOR CONCERN' DIAGNOSIS WILL EASE OTHERS

I HOPE THIS WILL GIVE HOPE & COMFORT TO OTHERS WAITING FOR A DIAGNOSIS:   I am the lady who had a scan on a rather large lump on her neck only to be told it was a 'Cause for Concern'.  Today I had an appt with the ENT.  GOOD NEWS! OH IT'S GOOD NEWS!  I have what the consultant thinks is 'a blocked salivary gland' which is causing the large lump on my neck and NOT Cancer!  He did all the appropriate examinations and asked all the appropriate questions and said I was 'much too well to have Cancer'.  I have no other symptoms and feel fine - firt and healthy otherwise.  The lump is to be scanned again with a biopsy taken and he is going to fast-track it through to put my mind completely at rest - but he sent my hubby and I away feeling somewhat elated as you can imagine.  It has been a horrible time - those words from the GP 'cause for concern' - they certainly caused us that, but of course they were only doing their job.  Oh the relief - I don't need to tell you. I CANNOT THANK THIS SITE ENOUGH FOR THE SUPPORT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME OVER THE WEEK-END.  I WILL NEVER FORGET IT.  NEVER.  THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO REPLIED TO ME.  I LOVE YOU ALL & THAT'S A FACT.  I WISH I COULD SHAKE EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU  BY THE HAND. X
