  • Hi Jenny,

This isn't my area but just didn't want your post getting lost in the mass of posts.

Technically they don't tend to know for sure what stage our cancers are until all the tests or surgeries are done, it's more of an educated guess (that is usually correct I imagine). From what you've said I'm not sure if you know the difference between stage and grade?  Just in case, they are two very different things.  Stage is obviously dependent on where your cancer is, how large it is, whether it has spread to other parts of the body.  Grade is determined by how fast your cancer is growing.  It's important to remember that even though cancers grow 'fast' it is a relative term and people often worry thinking 'fast' is something that it isn't.

Sorry if you knew all that already!

Really hope it's stage 1 for you.  Good luck for your hysterectomy tomorrow, hoping for a quick recovery.

    Take care,

    LJx

  • Hi Jenny203, I hope all goes well with your hysterectomy tomorrow.  I had one aged 36 years old and recovered well.  Let us know how it goes when you get the results, someone will always help you if they can.  Good luck,  Carol
