I think the doctors are following the normal protocol so I wouldn't be too worried. And, HPV is pretty common these days, I am sure one of the moderators or nurses could give some statistics. Just get the tests, make sure you follow up like you are told and try to remain as calm as possible. I had high risk HPV that developed into cervical cancer when I was 48.. but, I was stupid and hadn't had  smear test for 15 years!  I go every 6 months now, like clock work.  I have had two test come back "abnormal" over 5 years.

I'm sorry to hear that you are concerned, which is understandable, but try not to worry too much until you speak to your doctor.

hiya, how did you get on? I’m in the same boat as you - 27 and I’ve also two kids. Really worried..

Im neally 25 and found out yestursday that the test is slight boaderline abnormal cells and HPV

I am 26 and have had results back from smear test today, borderline abnormal cells and HPV.

Has anyone had their next appointment/ results ?

Hello I have had results of my smear test today it is hpv positive and abnormal cells. I am awaiting appointment for colposcopy. Can any give me advice of statistics or how there’s went.
