Introduce yourself HPV Positive

I had a regular smear test March 2020 which came back with HPV positive but no abnormal cells.

I have just had another smear test which still shows HPV positive, and no abnormal cells, and a further test required in 12 months.

Is there anything that can be done/taken as treatment of HPV?

Obviously have concerns.

There is no cure for HPV...only treatment for abnormal cells, if that happens. HPV has active and dormant phases, and the best thing you can do is try to keep your immune system healthy with a good diet, exercise etc to try to keep it dormant and not causing any issues. Keeping up with screening appointments will mean that any changes can be identified and treated, but there is no treatment for HPV itself.
