I have suspected giant cell tumour or nurofibroma both types of soft tissue sarcoma are mainly benign. I had a biopsy last week and my results had already arrived within few days. I received an appointment letter for outpatient appointment 4 weeks later. I then get a call on Friday to say the team had a meeting and decided to bring my appointment forward. I have an appointment upcoming Tuesday to discuss results. If the lump is benign would they not normally say this on the phone. I'm so worried as even the GCT can be benign it can be very aggressive already damaged tendons. Because they have called and asked me to come in this must be bad !
