How soon did you fly.

Hi,  I'm having a breast lumpectomy in two weeks time. I'm terrified, but know it has to be done..... we have a long weekend booked in Spain four weeks after my surgery. Has anyone flown so soon after surgery? X

I had a lunpectomy July 22 

the next day I was out shopping it's a east peasy operation 

I'm sure you will be ok and have no problems x

yes clear margins , but one teeny trace in o e sentil node so had to have another operation full node clearance 30 nodes taken but they all come back clear thankfully 

 ut I worked through 2 operations took day off after each not one day was I sick or I'll 

its mind over Matter for me no way was I going to feel sick I was positive and out and about x 

you can do it you will be amazing x ❤️

I honestly still don't feel like it ever happened on times , I felt like it happened so quick and before I knew it I was back to my bouncy self I finished everything in nov by Jan I was in Tenerife and last week in Spain no problem at all loving life and no looking back , I can't leave the forum as it helped me so much x

Just wanted to wish you a good recovery. Please keep the dressing dry so not to get wound infection. I had same op. No real problem had a check with surgeon 4 weeks after for referral to  radiotherapy. Enjoy your holiday.
