I am absolutely devastated. I am extremely unwell and after months of A and E visits doctors appointments private gastrointestinal appointments and a private abdominal and pelvic CT scan and a chest ct scan. Doctors have put together the jigsaw because that's what it became as no one listened and now I am on a 2 week pathway (well it's a week away) to see a colon surgeon. The findings of my scans have been a musorectal node, inguial nodes, a liver "cyst", an ovarian cyst and a lung node. Due to my symptoms my doctor is concerned about colon cancer which is what I said I was afraid I had eleven months ago he refused a colonoscopy and now I am in this mess. A recent a and e attendance had me resess sue to my heart rate and a high d dimer and they did a chest CT which found the lung nodule. I know where this is going I really hope it isn't metastatic cancer but from the way I am feeling I just can't see it being anything else. Note to doctors never ignore a young persons symptoms better to refer them for tests which cost money than dismissing them which may cost them lives. If only my doctor had listened. I even went to a private gastroenterologist who did a sigmoidoscopy and found nothing yet I now have a node in my rectum. I asked for a colonoscopy yet they said I didn't qualify for one. So my life wasn't worth a camera up my behind is what they said and now I am in this position. I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy I am 31.
