Applied to be rehoused by council last year as my current flat also owned by the council is not suitable for my health, when l was discharged from hospital was given equipments to help me with my daily living and they also gave me letters to give to the council as support to be rehoused, l provided this to council and they requested me to be seen by their own OT who however assessed me after longtime waiting due to their backlog, OT said l qualify for a standard housing that was in july this year when l called council they told me my case was closed, I was HURT, to think I have waited for that long and struggling to live in my current accommodation and told l dont qualify to be rehoused was a blow to me. Anyway to cut it short i email our local MP, and they adviced me to write a complaint to council and today council reply to me that I dont qualify again and that I need to do another application. I feel sad, hated this illness feeling discrimitated , not listened etc..
