Hospital - Head and neck cancer episode

I finally caught up with this episode of Hospital.  Which covered the work of David Grant, Head and Neck Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospital.

A very powerful episode and highlighted the pressure on resources across the board when it comes particulary to the treatment of head and neck cancer treatments (as it is for many cancer departments).

Did anyone else watch it?

  • My husband has been treated by these 2 hospitals for salivary gland cancer. I’m just catching up on this and I’m devastated we have surgeons feeling this way. I’ve decided I’ll be doing a half marathon (I don’t run...) for the head and neck cancer charity. This programme definitely is a true representation of the amazing staff in the Notts Hospitals. What’s a real eye opener is seeing it from the other side. They are heroes, all of them.
