i put on nearly two stone right round the middle and a 42 B bust and having hot flushes day and night i don't look pretty but I'm living with cancer you get slightly usto it if you can live longer, i had cemotheropy in 2016 which helped without it I would have died later that year, I live a normal life as can be was working until December I have to look after my disabled wife she needs 24 /7 care or I'd still be working I'm 67 best wishes... Billy 

That sound like really severe side effects.

Don't worry to much you do get usto it those are the most common ones there can be others if you exercise a lot it does help, I'm afraid nearly all cancer treatment have side effects but it is livable, it's maybe not what you want to know but it's the truth. Just waiting on my GP surgery organising tablets and injections.

The cancer specialist was very abrupt and not very helpful.

He said I didn’t need another scan to make sure of his new diagnosis.

Did you leave it late for your hormone therapy?

The cancer seems to have spread quickly.

I had hormone therapy first because they wanted it in my system before cemo started. It's supposed to start fighting C to make it lower before other treatment starts.

How did the cancer spread if you were getting the hormone treatment?

Cancer had already spread before treatment, starting,, last check up psa was1.9 it did go down to 0.03 last year, I've still got C in bones, lymph nodes and prostate,, as I said you can live with it... Billy
