Hi everyone,

My husband is in his second year of remission from mouth cancer and has a liquid diet only of 4 bottles of Fresubin daily , there is no problem with this at all, however we would like to go abroad for 2 weeks this year and have been told that we can take Fresubin in powder form with us.

Has anyone else done this ? And what is the procedure for informing the airline etc ?

Anyinformation would be helpful.

    Thanks for posting in the forum. 

    I would suggest that you speak directly with your travel agent, or airline if booking directly, who I'm sure will be able to give you advice about how to pack the powder e.g. hold or cabin baggage, if you need a letter from GP and any special procedures they need you to follow. I'm sure that the airline will have procedures in place for transporting items that are required for a medical reason.
