Hi i been following this chat for a good month now! I am 31 i have 3 children oldest is 11 and mentally disabled 2nd is 22month old also mentally disabled and my son 5 month old. All my smears have been totally fine never missed one in my life! All my kids have been normal delivery i got induced with my 2nd child (22 month old) i then fell pregnant with my 5month old who came at 36 weeks i had really bad bleeding for 14weeks after having him i was due my smear test in july but was pregnant and didnt have my son till october then because i bled 14 weeks after they wouldnt do it i have had regular spotting since i had to ring doctors soon as there was a day i was spotting to get my smear done. The woman said evrything looked fine apart from having a tilted cervix i got my results back middle of feb to say i had hv positive and high grade moderate dyskarosis! Totally shocked by it all i spent my days googling evrything ive had no pain anywhere till the night she had done my smear and i had sexual intercourse with my partner and it hurt to say the least! So i got booked in for colposcopy i was teriffied! The woman was lovely to me and the other nurses who were in the room they took me through evrything it did hurt when they did the needle but was for seconds then i had lletz done i looked on screen to see white dots all the way around my cervix i asked her if she thinks it was cancer she said defonatly not she was brilliant said there was nothing suggesting i had cancer on my regular smear  so it did put my mind at ease a little she took biopsy im now in my 2nd week waiting for results i rang doctors to be told there waiting on histology report whatever that is just hope im ok for my kids sake as to any mother who is suffering with the dreaded wait for results all i can say is go to you regular smears its your life at end of day for the sake of a couple of uncomfortable minutes then your done i will update when my results are back hope evryone is ok as i suffer bad anxiety so i know waiting is hard
