Hi everyone hope you's are all well. It's been about 8 months since i have been on here. Just so you know nothing to do with the cancer thankfully. Sadly im still fighting this horrible disease as i said months ago my bowel is clear but my liver is still riddled with cancer. I remember saying the chemo was working but it stopped working in october and they found out it was growing faster than ever so they had to up the treatment which for me caused terrible symptoms and for a woman in her 70s like me its hard really hard to even find the strength to get out of bed. Easy things like walking up and down the stairs and stripping the beds became impossible without going through hell with the pain and my energy levels were very low. I really didn't think i was going to make this year but i did. I got my latest scans of my liver and its still there trying to fight the chemo though thankfully gotten a bit smaller so there is improvment but im taking 1 day at a time. My oncologist says i just need to keep hope and fight it with every bit of strength i have got. I have seen so many in my life die because of cancer and im making sure im not one of them. I may be weak at times but i aint giving up without a war. Also the grandkids and family are so supportive and are here always making sure im fine i tell them to chill out but i guess with them losing there dad-My husband there making sure i have the support and everything i need.
