Hello KayW, I am really just saying "hello" and sorry you have been diagnosed with mouth cancer.  I have to say upfront I have not personal experience of any cancer other than trying to help family and friends who have had this unpleasant experience.  You don't give much detail but I am confident that support will be forthcoming from other members of this forum.  Without knowing your personal circumstances I would just say that you should make use of the family and friends who will doubtless want to help but without always knowing what they should be doing.  My best wishes to you.  Anne
