Let's beat cancer sooner

Hi all

14 Aug 2017 22:24

Hello everyone im new here and wanted to say hi and say a little about myself before i tell my whole story .

My names David im 35 and im from wales and i lost my girlfreind to oesophagus cancer last year .

I plan to share my story with you all in a future post so i wont go in to much details here but im hoping it may help people. It goes from coping with from diagnosis to at home treatmment with cannabis oil through eventual death .

Im still finding it very hard at the moment and still don't talk about it with friends or family but if i can help 1 person i think it would be worth it .

Of course if its against any rules just say its no problem i dont mind but it seems a good place to vent .

Thanks for reading this has actually been helpful first step hopfully of many

David

Hi David I am so sorry for your loss. I am new to this site as my husband had recent Gist diagnosis and I am searching for other people to connect with. I am finding it hard speaking to family and friends and even my husband at the moment who is processing in his own way. I'm hoping this is the first step in building a online family who supports each other. Suz

Hi both, my husband has terminal cancer and was given 3 to 6 months back in March, recently he has started to decline and its such a mix of emotions trying to stay positive all the time.  Any advice received gratefully!

Sorry Laura it's been like 4 months since I been on here . I had a major relapse And I hope you got some help but if not here goes

1st suicide is not an option don't go down that road it does not help I tried and failed I took about 2000 mg tramadol and diazepam . If you haven't thought of it you will so make sure you talk to people ecspecially on those days and don't stay by yourself for long periods because feeling lonely makes it all seem a million times worse

2 same goes for drink I went on a 36 hour whiskey spree still felt bad when I was doing it but it helped me cope until the come down it made me feel a lot worse

3 go to your doctors mirtazapines help you with sleeping ,anxiety , and depression don't feel weak for taking them they will help you out

sorry if it's to late but if you ever feel lost or lonely I will check this post regular and if you want a chat I'm here any times fine I don't sleep very well .
