I am sorry to hear about your gran. Poor her it does sound like she had major surgery it must have been a very scary time for you then but I am glad she made it and recovered despite everything she went through after the operation.

It seems that your gran's cancer is indeed rather rare. Try not to look things up too much on Google - as you have discovered it will bring up mixed results and you may end up even more confused about everything. Try and stick to sources that you know are reliable. For example, you can find out more about uterine sarcoma (also known as sarcoma of the womb) here . From looking at our information on the different types of womb cancer, it looks like there are various different kinds with confusingly similar names - for example there is uterine sarcoma but also uterine carcinosarcoma so try and find out exactly what the terminology is in your gran's case. I hope the chemotherapy treatment goes well for her - it is a shame that she is having to have it far away and I hope someone is able to take her there.
