  • Hi Debbie

I would contact your district nurse asap in the morning and tell her what's going on.  I feel his medication should be changed, They will know what's best rather than GP as they deal with this all the time.  Try soft lighting and possibly holding his hand, soft music etc.  This could just be him being really frightened and not wanting to be left on his own during the night,

Fingers crossed for you all as you need your rest as well.

    Take care

    xx

  • Some people do have unusual reactions to morphine; these can include confusion and difficulty sleeping.  I know that sounds strange but I have known it happen and the doctor had to change the medication.  I hope you can get this sorted out.    Sorry your family are having to go through this.  Annie
