Hey, if this is any help. I have exact the same thing and it causes me a pilsinate tinnitus because it pressures on my artery. I also was freaking out but the ultrasound showed it's a post infectious lymph node with a fatty tissue. No further tests needed. It's not movable, hard and painless. It's been 2 years since, it's still there and I'm still alive. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

I hope that's the case for me too. I may have had it for years too and never realised but after reading about non movable hard lumps on google I completely freaked out.

My son had (still has) this behind his left ear. We were referred by our doctor to hospital for a blood test because it had been there for a while but as soon as the consultant looked at it, they weren't concerned at all. His is due to his eczema that he suffers from and we've been told he'll have it there for years. He does have a little bit ezcema at the top of his ears which kind of explains why his lump would be there. He did have a blood test for our peace of mind and everything came back fine. I totally understand the worry of a lump so wanted to share our story as it's not always what you worry it could be x

I hope it will be the case for you. I have a small hard painless lump actually 2 on the right side of my groin and waiting for the ultrasound. I'm very scared and I hope it will turn out nothing

Hi I have just posted exactly the same!!!

I have had an immovable lump behind my right ear since 2016. Had it looked at back then told it was reactive and less than 5mm, had diagnosis of Lupus SLE but then had no symptoms so took it back its now come back with a vengeance and lots of little swollen lymph nodes throughout my body had my haematology appointment Wednesday 4th phone call yesterday for CT neck to groin today and just had another phone call got an MRI on Tuesday 9th it all feels too quick for me and I'm panicking

I hope everything goes well for you. I can relate to how scared you must be as I'm in the exact same position- just waiting for some answers.

It's weird literally behind my ear on the scalp feels like a big lump of bone but it's not, no pain just getting ringing in that ear and feel pressure! I have lots of little ones all around that side in my hairline going down my neck back of my head and in my jaw. Please let me know if you get answers and I'll keep you posted on mine. Its nice to have someone to talk to
