Hi I used cold cap and finished Chemo 12 weeks ago and this last 3 weeks have noticed loss of hair ! but I am still receiving treatment to stop cancer growing as mine is secondary cancer, did yours stop falling out just wondered? I did not have cold cap with my first lot of treatment I just lost my hair, but thought I d like to keep it this time

Thanks for the reply. My hair has been coming out very gradually over the course of the chemo but never felt more than what I would normally lose. This last week and especially today it’s coming out in much larger clumps.

hi thanks for your reply and sorry to hear this hope it stops for you and for me, I had hardly any loss all through my treatment and I used straighteners and root cover spray but mild shampoo and conditioner just once a week, I m thinking mine thinning from treatment I m getting now and was going to use natural semi permanent colour tomorrow, I ve also started using root shampoo and conditioner to try to thicken I ll let you know how I get on !!
