I've had a look for posts that may of been of interest to you on the forum using the search function but I can't find anyone who has commented about about the problem that you mention.

I think that it's possible to find scary stories and articles about most any subject on the internet. Sometimes these sites are reputable sources and sometimes they're not. If you're really concerned about hair regrowth then do speak to your Consultant or Nurse specialist who should be able to give you more information.
