  • Hello Jue22,

First of all, well done for finishing your last chemotherapy just before Christmas. A huge milestone! I am glad you are feeling so much better now and it's now the countdown to the end of your radiotherapy treatment - yay! I hope it's all going well and you are not suffering too many side effects.

Dealing with hair loss during and after treatment and experiencing eyebrow or eye lash loss can be very difficult emotionally but the important thing to remember is that eyelashes and eyebrows will usually grow back. Macmillan have detailed information about changes to your eyebrows and eyelashes during treatment which includes some good tips on how to manage changes to your eyebrows and eyelashes. There is also a section on our website about hair loss which you may find helpful to have a look at.

I am sure other members of our forum will have been confronted to this type of issue before and I will now let them come and say hello and share their experience and top tips with you. Our nurses are also available on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm so don't hesitate to give them a call if you would like to talk to them about anything.

Well done once again for finishing your chemotherapy treatment. I hope your hair keeps growing nicely and that the eye lashes will also grow back quickly.

    Best wishes,
