    Hi Lewis,

A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear about your symptoms and fully understand your anxiety. Can I just assure you that this is perfectly normal, but you will feel better once you know what you are dealing with.

Are you a Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetic? I am a type 2 and was diagnosed with breast cancer 11 years ago. I had a lumpectomy followed by Tamoxifen. Almost a year to the day of my first surgery, I discovered another lump in the same breast and had a double mastectomy, followed by Letrozole for 6½ years. I stopped taking this in July 2017 and am still leading a busy and fulfilled life.

I lost my mum to secondary breast cancer before I was diagnosed, but there was no comparison between the diagnosis, treatment and after care which we both received. All have come a long way in the interim. Breast cancer is now one of the most treatable forms of cancer.

I sincerely hope that all turns out well for you. Don't forget to let us know when you get your results. Please remember that we are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
