Hi, when I went for my first clinic apt, I was told by my GP to expect a mammogram, but when I arrived they did an Ultrasound as well. This is not unusual, they have to examine and scan the area as standard before they can decide if it's definitely a cyst for example or they need more tests such as biopsies to ascertain that. None of this is unusual, although I know it sounds scary. The chances of it being cancer are generally low. Try not to worry, it's good they do tests to be certain and give you peace of mind. X
