Getting there tnbc can do one.

Hi 3rd follow up, 15 down 3 to go

well here I am,3 more to go and fingers crossed, touching wood and counting my chickens and feeling positive positive positive, I'm still here and getting excited for the real world. Triple negative you can do one, but thank you for putting my life in perspective, ladies like most of us I'm a born worrier and usually worry when I haven't got anything to worry about, mostly for other people and things that aren't in my control to fix. Well no more this is my time now and I'm going to make the most of it. This is just to reassure that if you are early on with the 12 week paxitaxal journey and are worried how bad your going to get, that in mine and 2 more of my chemo buddies experience it hasn't got that bad. The steroids aren't keeping awake at night like the first few, (you know the prickly bottom one.) the nurse has said that the slower it is given through the syringe the less you can feel it. Maybe (it's because I have a fat backside I don't know )but I think she's right. Then the chemo itself for me and my buddies hasn't been  as bad as we thought it was going to be, yes we are all different but honestly please don't worry and take it each day as it comes. We are all comparing our hair growth, I didn't expect to get it back yet but it's coming. My new nickname is now spike, I have purchased some transfer tattoos from she in . The type you used to put on your arm with water omg They have changed my look completely, unbelievably they are about £2.00 for about 10 pairs so I've bought them in all shapes, admitted some make me looked a bit shocked but for that price why not. The hot flushes come and go and an ache in the bones, the but all in all girls it is manageable and we woman are strong and we can do this, still drinking loads of water and the no gin gin with my rhubarb and ginger and maybe when this is all over I might be a tea total.... or maybe not.. I have become addicted to £10.00 wigs and if they are not for me I  put them in a charity bag for someone else to have fun with. All I'm trying to say is,give yourself a pamper and you will be surprised how much better it makes you feel on the inside.I have seen quite a few photos now of ladies who are going through this and I believe we all have the same look that shows strength and beauty and a defiance that yes we are at war but we are winning.
Keep it up and positive vibes been sent out to you all. the next time I will post will be once my radiotherapy is done, xxx
