As my previous posts suggest I have many of the symptoms of bowel cancer despite being only 29 including 3-4 episodes of significant bleeding in the toilet. 
I have piles so was never taken seriously about my symptoms and was just attributed to that by my gp. 
I also have pain and many other symptoms. 
I booked a private consultation with a specialist yesterday who put my mind at so much ease but still said any bleeding needs to be investigated, he referred me on the nhs despite me saying I would be willing to pay. Today I got the call that my colonoscopy is in just 7 days. Just before my birthday so happy birthday to me eh? At least things are moving too fast for me to get too anxious about it.
