Have there been any clinical trials regarding GcMAF? I read your article from 2008 about this 'miracle cure' - have there been any developments? If not why not? Thank you
We’ve spoken to our Science Media team to check if there have been any developments and they mentioned that the situation doesn’t seem to have changed. It seems that it is still unproven, and not approved. A number of papers suggesting its potential as a treatment have also been retracted.
There is, however, one clinical trial currently underway. It’s finished recruiting, but they haven’t published results yet. It’s an early, safety study in Israel, so it’s not looking at whether it’s effective against cancer yet: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02052492
