Hi, my Dad has advanced oesophageal cancer, he’s finished a course of chemo and started an immunotherapy trial but it affected his voice & he’s lost too much weight so he’s been taken off treatment. He’s had a stent before but it fell into his stomach when his cancer reacted well to chemo and shrunk so whilst it might be helpful again now he’s not keen and it’s not quite needed. He brings anything up with milk or cream in so the nutritional drinks prescribed don’t work. He lives on his own so needs to be easy for him but I wondered if anyone had ideas of things I can get him to try.. I can’t get him away from tinned fruit, bananas, bovril drinks, cream free soups and the odd cake! Ideas well received, he’s had another shock st the hospital today so I think he might be more receptive. Thanks.
