First stage of my mum's Thyroid Cancer

Hello everyone,

 

My mum has today been told from her first biopsy that the nodules on her throat are cancerous.

 

She has been told that she will need a biopsy to see which type of cancer and the progression of it. 

Does anybody know how long from the next biopsy how long the diagnosis will take?

  • Welcome to the forum Justin although I'm sorry to hear about your mum's diagnosis. 

    Hopefully other members who have been in this position will reply soon but your mum's medical team will be the best people to discuss this with so if you have your mum's permission do get in touch with them to find out more.
