Hi shaky oops hope you take plenty of things with you to eat and drink, my first cemo was 11.30 am i got in 4.30 pm once your in your not allowed out till its finished,, don't know about radio never had any but not supposed to take to long, hope you keep well and don't have to many side effects, best wishes.

Hi tonid, first time as I said late going in when I got in waiting to start nearly an hour normally treatment for me should take nearly two hours it was three and a half some pacients were ill with treatment so everyone else has to wait, ward was supposed to finish at six o'clock still five pacients waiting to come in when I left, Its not always that bad but be prepared, i agree ill ones come first, i actually got home (about 3/4 hour journey) at 8.30am remember there's still some waiting to go in, next time was a bit better, good luck.

I have to have 6 hours of chemo then go for radio which they said is about 15 mins. I'm prepared for a long day luckily I only have to have both treatments once a week the rest is just radio daily. Fingers crossed. Course it helps that I couldn't sleep lol xxx
