Hi
I had a breast lump scanned and biopsied 4 years ago and the result was that it was a simple fibroadenoma. About two months ago I noticed that it felt larger and went to the gp who referred me to the breast clinic. I went last week and the lump was scanned, however the sonographer and consultant told me that it was definitely a different lump and that there were two smaller lumps behind it. The sonographer pointed out the previous fibroadenoma on the scan and told me that it was in a different quadrant.
Core biopsies were taken from the three new lumps and I have an appointment for results on 11th May. Has anyone had anything similar? I'm normally quite relaxed about health matters but feeling quite unnerved about all of this.
Thanks
