I'm pretty sure many of us can relate to feeling overwhelmed at the point you're at.

You spend weeks or months waiting for diagnostic tests and scans, then wait days or weeks waiting for results ... then everything seems to happen at once. The whole thing feels like an emotional rollercoaster  with wonky wheels.

It feels like I am in a dream. I can't think straight. I do not feel like eating. Lost all my energy. :(

Yes, it's horrible. There's no way to hide this. All I can say is that it does get better, especially when you have a treatment plan. Almost exactly a year ago I was in the same situation as you, i.e  just been diagnosed, and facing a barrage of tests and scans. And, just like you, I felt like I was in a dream. In fact most of us on this site have been where you are right now, and felt the same emotions as you. For many of us, including myself, it turns out better than we could ever have imagined. Others are not so lucky. But one thing is certain. All of us on this site know what you are going through and send you all their love and sympathy. xx Harry

Went to see the surgeon and she feels more lumps under my armpit. There has been blood test ordered and a Cat Scan and Bone Scan, Also I have to have another biopsy to check the  Lymph Nodes. And the surgeon said I will have seven weeks of radiation treatment five days a week. All of this is so overwhelming for me right now.

I really feel for you right now. I'm not at all surprized that you feel so overwhelmed. Try not to think of the enormity of all this. Instead try to deal with things on a day-to-day basis. This is more than enough to deal with just now.

That sounds very distressing. I had a CAT scan, ultrasound and blood tests. A very painful biopsy on my penis. And a Dynamic Sentinal Node Biopsy, where they remove the lymph nodes that are most likely to be affected. After the shock of my cancer diagnosis, I got lucky every time, so escaped major surgery, chemo or radiotherapy. Really sorry that you have not been so fortunate. You are due a run of less bad luck now (scans negative, lymph node swellings due to infection.. ). Harry. x

All these tests take a toll on you. They do more testing then something else arises, Can't wait until these test our finishes Getting tire out already.

Well on my way out for lunch with my family, My son has flown in from Edmonton and I am so scared of breaking down. right now.:(
