Feeling anxious

Hi all,

So yesterday I started bleeding nothing heavy but enough to concern me it has changed from bright red to brown. Today I have some pelvic discomfort and lower back pain which I've had for a while. I'm 51 and not had periods for 4 years. I will contact my gp tomorrow but this came from nothing and just wanted to know if any one had a similar experience and what was the outcome.

    I'm sorry about the symptoms that have appeared but I'm glad you're getting in touch with your GP and hope you've managed to get an appointment to discuss this in more detail.

    Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will share their experiences and advice with you soon but in the meantime we're all thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed this will be no cause for concern.
