Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the drug herceptin being used for esophageal cancer? A very close family member  was found to have the gene that responds to treatment and has had around 3 treatments, along with chemo, of it so far. Did it really help? Is it as good as they say? The cancer is stage 4. How much extra time is it supposed to give? There is no hope of an operation, so we are told. I suppose I'm hoping for a 'miracle' I've researched and trawled the internet and I've read some really inspirational stories and also some not so good. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you
