Enlarged Right Ovary

I've been having issues with the right side of my abdomen since having my second child 3 years ago. I had an ultrasound around 18 months ago but no issues were picked up. Symptoms continued and have gradually worsened in that time. I have very heavy periods, painful sex and bleed a small amount after sex. I also sometimes have a heavy, weighty feeling, like my uterus might fall out (sorry, tmi!)

Last week I had a second ultrasound scan. After using a standard ultrasound, the technician very quickly decided to use a transvaginal machine. She told me that based on my symptoms she was looking for endometriosis but instead, she picked up an enlarged right ovary. I chased my GP for days after that and finally heard on Friday that there's a concern it might be cancer.

I had a CA125 blood test this morning and am now, again, waiting on results. It's an excruciating time. The GP is referring me to a gynae anyway. The blood results will determine if I'm put on the NICE 2 week pathway for suspected cancer, or 'other, urgent'.

Has anyone else had an enlarged ovary? What was the outcome? Dr Google doesn't throw up anything that isn't negative. Would love to hear some other stories.

*UPDATE 22/9/2020: I had my CA125 blood results back today, and they're normal. Would love to hear from anyone else who's had an enlarged ovary and normal bloods.

*UPDATE 25/9/2020: Still waiting for my gynae appointment to come through. Starting to feel anxious again. I'd managed to pretend for most of this week that everything is ok because I have normal bloods. I'm fully aware this isn't necessarily the case though.
