I was told mine is grade 1 type.   They will need to perform Hysterectomy on me. 

Hi that's good they can do surgery straight away hopefully once I get ct scan then it will be same plan for me 

I am waiting to have MRI scan.  Hopefully it has not spread outside of the womb.

I am so scared.  Keep asking myself I should have pressured my GP more because of irregular periods.

Did see GP before 13 years ago, but after blood tests and smear tests they just said I was normal and that some women do have irregular periods.

About 11 years ago I had spotting after sex, went to GP again and after blood tests results said there was nothing wrong.

Luckily seen another GP, refered me to see Gyn specialist, was told I had a large polyp.  Removed and it was find, no more spotting,  However irregular period still goes on and I never thought about going to GP again for that issue.

Now looking back, I sort of regret not doing more to investigate and also I am scared that I left it too late now.

I started to have spotting almost everyday since late March, so on the third week, I went to see GP. Referred to see Gyn specialist.  They both said it looks like menopausal symptoms.  Anyway the transvaginal ultrasound showed fibroid and possibly polyps.  So in mid May I had D&C, hysteroscope and have polys removed.

Biopsies result showed I have grade one cancer.

Very upset.

Hi get better everything has went into turmoil after been diagnosed my emotions have been all over place and feel scared also don't beat yourself up as at least you doing something now xxx I went in last Wednesday for surgery but everything went wrong supposed to be keyhole for a hysterectomy but tried keyhole but my insides were so bad had to open me up and down the way and on doing that consultant had to get 5 other surgeons to help my ovary and tube wee stuck to my upper bowel but while cutting off cut my bowel so started leaking and they had to repair could not stem bleeding but then discovered all my other organs were stuck to scarred tissue and muscle so had to cut them all off to free them and then had to cut me long ways so in end was in theatre from 1-7pm got a hysterectomy overectomy salapingoverectomy washings and scrappings and a repaired bowel and now said he unsure if spread as was in such a mess inside am devastated as they aid getting hysterectomy should get rid and then would need radium and chemo but now am recovering but only just home how are you doing you had any further news ?

Did they not do a scan beforehand?

How are you feeling these few days? 

I am now recovering from the hysterectomy surgery.    The MRI scan showed the C was contained within the uterus so there was no need to remove lymph nodes.   Doctor said the C was caught at a very early stage.   But we still have to wait for the histology to properly stage it. 

Doctor said the operation went smoothly but I noticed my urine on the night after the operation was bloody.   I was told then that they had to dissect my bladder a bit to remove the womb.   They said it was normal and it would heal itself and it did.   My urine run clear within a few hours.
