Hello, I am new here and would just like a bit of advice. I have been told I have endometrial thickness 26 mm and am required to have a hysteroscopy for a biopsy. I have researched 26 mm thickness however have not found anyone as of yet to have such a high measurement, has anyone on here had the same as me or is this most likely to be abnormal. Thank you in advance.
mine is 16mm. My doc said the norm is 5mm. I had a hysteroscopy this week and a biopsy taken. The gynaecologist has given me two options an ablation or an hysterectomy. He said my lining was caused by taking the POP
Hi, I have recently been referred to my local hospital, my measurement was 43mm! I had a hysteroscopy & they found polyps which they have sent off for biopsy. I now have to have a MRI next week. I won't get the results for 2 weeks & I am also looking for answers
I have had an ultrasound today and also have a 26mm lining, a 3cm polyp and when I asked questuions she said something about the outdies of my womb, making a circle shape with her hands. I have a hysteroscopy booked for Sunday and as you can imagine am beside myself with worry. Any support would be welcome.
mine is also 24mm I've just had ovarys, tubes and a 5 cm dermoid cyst removed the hysterscopy was done at the same time and I am now awaiting my results .I think it depends on your age and whether you are post menopausal on how quick they act . Hoping you get positive news and it's nothing serious
